Ronnie starts Grand Slam road

Ronnie will start qualifiers for the Partypoker.com Grand Slam Of Darts Friday in an attempt to win the ITV Wildcard ticket to the tournament.
One place in the £400,000 Grand Slam of Darts, to be held in Wolverhampton from November 14-22, is up for grabs from the knockout event, to be held at Irvine's Magnum Centre.
Several players who have previously competed in the Grand Slam of Darts will be amongst the 195 players in the ITV Wildcard Qualifier, including last year's winner Wes Newton.
Alan Tabern and Colin McGarry also won through last year, when additional places were up for grabs, while Ronnie Baxter, Dennis Priestley, Barrie Bates, Michael van Gerwen, Jelle Klaasen, Roland Scholten and Peter Manley have also previously competed in Wolverhampton.
Play will commence at 6pm on the night, with all games up to, and including, the semi-finals being the best of seven legs. The final will be the best of nine legs.
