Ronnie reaps the benefits of a good 2009

After a very competitive 2009, Ronnie will compete in the 2010 Whyte & Mackay Premier League darts.

A superb return to form has seen The Rocket shoot from 13th in the PDC World Rankings to number 6. Above him, the newly crowned World Champion Phil Taylor, Raymond van Barneveld, defending Premier League Champion James Wade, Terry Jenkins and Mervyn King. There are 2 wildcards on offer, with World Championship runner up Simon Whitlock already confirmed, Scottish star Gary Anderson, Paul Nicholson and former BDO Champion Mark Webster are all hoping to grab the last of the prize invitations.

Ronnie last competed in the Premier League in 2006, where he just missed out on a play-off place, finishing a creditable 5th. With his current pick-up in form, Baxter will be hoping to push for a place on finals night on 23rd May at Wembley.

Tickets, priced at £30 for floor seats and £20 for tiered seats, are on sale now.
