Ronnie misses out on Grand Slam after semi-final defeat

Ronnie suffered a semi-final defeat to eventual winner Steve Maish in the ITV Wildcard qualifier for The Grand Slam Of Darts.

1st round was a 4-1 victory over Tony Ayres, then a 4-3 win against Jamie Atkins set up a 3rd round match against AJ Urmston-Toft in which Ronnie progressed with a 4-2 win.

Baxter then faced Andy Jenkins winning 4-3 setting up a quarter-final against Jamie Cavern who he defeated by the same scoreline.

Ronnie faced Steve Maish in the semi-final and Maish who went on to win a place in Wolverhampton, defeated Baxter 4-2.
