Ronnie has traveled to Las Vegas in preparation for the Desert Classic.

Play begins on Tuesday the third Las Vegas Players Championship will feature 153 players.

A £30,000 prize fund will be on offer as the PDC Pro Tour returns to the Mandalay Bay Resort, a venue where Raymond van Barneveld and Phil Taylor have been winners in the past two years.

Tuesday's tournament will be seen as a vital warm-up for the PartyPoker.net Las Vegas Desert Classic for the PDC's top 16 and the four north Americans who have pre-qualified for the Desert Classic's televised stages which start on Wednesday.

The majority of the 153-player field in the Players Championship will also have competed in the Las Vegas Desert Classic Qualifiers on Sunday and Monday which Ronnie did not have to take part in.
