Rocket cruises into round 2 at the European Championships

Ronnie booked a date with Gary Anderson after beating Andy Smith 6-2 at The Claus Event Center in Holland.

The opening legs were closely matched before Baxter sped away from Warwickshire's Andy Smith, easing into a 4-2 lead. Smith needed to take out big numbers but left himself 45 after an attempt at 136, Baxter took out tops to move within 1 game of victory at 5-2.

The last game was a good one and was closely matched, however it was Baxter's throw and he took out a simple 68 to book a place in Saturdays second round.
